Leadership Transformations, Lexington, Massachusetts – Selah Certificate in Spiritual Direction, 2023-present • Undergoing formation to be a spiritual director, a companion along people’s journey in their relationship with God.

Anglican Diocese of Christ Our Hope, Durham, North Carolina – Ordination to the Diaconate and Priesthood, 2019-2022 • I completed the formation process of ordination in the Anglican Diocese of Christ Our Hope, part of the Anglican Church in North America, being ordained to the transitional diaconate in September 2021 and to the priesthood in August 2022.

Sojourn Community Church, Louisville, Kentucky – Sojourn Pastors’ School – 2011 • I completed a training program of classes and a corresponding internship to discern a sense of calling and be better formed for ministry.

Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Louisville, Kentucky – Master of Arts in Theology & Arts, 2010 • I was involved in a program specializing in the relationship of Christian theology with visual arts, film, and literature, studying the history of those interactions and a Christian approach to aesthetics (that is, the philosophical study of beauty). • Member of Imago Dei, the student arts organization. • Member of Vox Pop, the student social justice organization.

Editor, Anglican Compass; Lafayette, LA – 2023-present • I curate and edit articles and related content for a highly-trafficked web resource that provides an informative, irenic “front porch” to the Anglican tradition.

Assisting Clergy for Pastoral Care, Grace Anglican Church; Louisville, KY – 2023-present • I coordinate the intercessory prayer ministry, make hospital and home visits, maintain regular contact via phone and email, and oversee the general care of parishioners. I also preach, assist, and celebrate Holy Communion when needed.

Clergy-in-Residence, Grace Anglican Church; Louisville, KY – 2021-2023 • On a volunteer basis, I preached, taught formation classes, led Evening Prayer, assisted and celebrated Holy Communion services, and coordinate the intercessory prayer team and acolyte ministries.

Night Auditor/Reservations Desk Clerk, Legacy Hotel & Conferences; Louisville, Kentucky – 2013-2020 • I served as a full-time third shift desk clerk in charge of all services to guests during nighttime hours, handling all check-ins, check-outs, room assignments, reservations, day-end settlement, emergency management, and any other situations that may arise during that time. I also wrote, proofread, or stylized documents for hotel purposes, as needed.
